The Ocean Lovers Festival is fishing for great new ideas for the Oceans. We are after innovative ideas that push the boundaries to positively impact the health of our oceans.

We launched our FishTank campaign to hook some great ideas for the ocean last year. You can see below interviews with a few fabulous  eco-innovators. We would love to discover more inspiring ideas this year and we know there are young people out there with an idea to help the ocean. So, we are opening up our FishTank to all ages. Please get in touch if you have a great idea for the ocean and want to share your inspiration.

Celebrated environmentalist and co-founder of Ocean Impact Organisation Tim Silverwood hosted our Virtual FishTank in 2020 and will return to host our live stage FishTank in 2021. After 10 years building Take 3 for the Sea into a successful ocean conservation charity, Tim is now pivoting his focus to accelerate great ideas and innovations to create an abundant and sustainable ocean.

Email ideas to hello@oceanloversfestival.com with a short concept overview.

All ages and ideas welcome.

2020 Virtual FishTank

As you might be aware, we were unfortunately forced to cancel last years Ocean Lovers Festival due to COVID-19.

However we were able to move our FishTank online.

Together, with Tim Silverwood, we turned our FistTank into a virtual event as we had such great stories about incredible ocean innovations.

Ocean Lovers Festival acknowledges the Bidjigal and Gadigal people, who traditionally occupied, and never ceded, the Sydney Coast.  We share their passion to care for country, paying respect to the Eora Saltwater People’s traditions that protect and nurture the land and sea from the past to the present
