School students around Australia of all ages have been invited to repurpose rubbish into prize-winning artworks come along to our Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival to view the finalists of this creative competition!
The competition promotes concepts about closed loop recycling, litter and rubbish impacts on the ocean and creative and thoughtful ways to make better everyday decisions by turning trash to treasure.
The Litterarty competition judging panel includes award-winning Australian environmental artists Marina Debris and John Dahlsen.

Win prizes, including an annual subscription to Australian Geographic Explorers magazine, Jack the Super Prawn Books (including Drastic Plastic & Pollution Solution), books vouchers and more.
Schools are invited to participate in the Litterarty Schools Waste-Art Competition. Entry now open, digital photo and video submission due end of Term 4. Selected finalists will be assisted by the festival with transportation of artworks to be judged and exhibited at the annual Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival from 11th - 13th, March 2022.
The winners will be announced on Sunday March 13th at the Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival at Bondi and via our website and social platforms.
Teachers and students can receive ocean literacy content and videos and participate in a study.
